A U film should be suitable for audiences aged 4 and above, although its impossible to predict whether this will upset the child. these films should be set in a positive framework and offer reassuring counter balances to violence. If the film is particularly aimed at primary school children certain language and behaviour is seen as unacceptable. The overall outcome should be reassuring to the child.
