In this research we found that remote and abandoned places are the scariest places to film, so therefore we chose to film in an alleyway which is quite remote and so therefore will coincide with the research. The alleyway is also very convenient and it goes with our storyline as the girl is leaving school and there is an alleyway right next to our school therefore we can show the girl leaving school and walking through the alley way. Over a half of people we asked answered that they like horror films including a group of teenagers, however we still decided to use a girl teenager as the main character as it would be this is crucial for our opening, the rest of the film will include a group of teenagers searching for the girl after she has been abducted. Most people answered that they find supernatural horror films most scary, we considered making a supernatural opening however we thought it would be very hard to do this without professional equipment that are used at real film studios. Therefore in our opening we decided to use a realistic story which could happen to anyone, we hope that this will make our audience scared and play on their minds.
