Today, we got all the footage we filmed in the last couple of days and put it all together. Even though it looked very simple as there was no transitions, titles or sound, our work started looking like an actual film opening not just random videos we took. When we first put our film together it was nearly 3 minutes long which was way too much, this meant that we had to take some videos out and make some shorter so we matched the given time of two minutes. I also noticed flaws in some videos which were too dark or had background noise which had to be changed.

In today's lesson, I had to unlink the sounds from certain videos and delete them so they were ready to be replaced with our sound. I also added transitions to our film which made it look more effective. I used transitions such as dip to black and cross dissolve.

Today, we all stayed behind after school to add sound to our film. We downloaded all the sounds we were going to use and put them in our film to make it look more effective and add tension. We used the healthy breathing sound, Justin Bieber sorry cover which Cath was listening to as she left school, we also downloaded creepy horror music which matched the action in our film. Train horn sound was very effective in our film as Cath was abducted in the alley way by the train station. It also adds more tension and makes it seem like no one knows what happened as the train is louder than Cath's screaming.

Today we aimed to finish editing our film so we could finally upload it onto youtube. I added white titles in Orator Std which were very effective. They added more of a mystery to our film opening and created enigma codes.

Today we added our production company at the beginning of our film them exported it and uploaded it onto youtube. We had a few problems with this as our film production company was on adobe after effects and our firm was on adobe premiere pro therefore we had to change many settings so we could transfer it between these two programs.

I added lighting to the videos of Cath on the phone to her mum as they were too dark and needed to match the rest of the film.

There are some of the transitions we added (dip to black and cross dissolve).

Today we aimed to finish editing our film so we could finally upload it onto youtube. At first, we were going to use Arial as our titles, however this didn't look very effective so we decided to use another one. I added white titles in Orator Std which were much more effective. They added more of a mystery to our film opening and created enigma codes.
