Story Line

Final storyline

We had many different ideas which changed over time during our filming and editing experience as we encountered different problems and got better ideas which would make our film opening most effective and interesting for our audience.

Story line

-Young girl (Cath) aged 16 is walking through an alleyway around 4pm, to get the train home from school.

-She calls her mum which wants to pick her up, however Cath insists that she gets the train home.

-As she's walking through the alley way listening to music, she has a weird sense that someone is following her. She's not wrong.

-She turns around and there is an old man behind her walking the same way, she doesn't think much of it and carries on walking.

-However, the viewers know that this man has been there for a while following her after she walked out of school.

-Everytime she turns around the man seems to be getting closer and closer, this worries Cath and she picks up the pace.

-Cath starts running and the man runs after her.

-He catches her and the audience don't know where she is or what has happened to her exactly.

-Cath’s phone and bag fell on the floor as she was being abducted, her mum keeps ringing her phone as she is worried about Cath still not being home.

-The man picks up the phone and says 'I've got her now', then hangs up.

We end our film opening at an enigma code, hoping the audience will be intrigued to watch more as the rest of the film will be about cath's escape to freedom and the fight she faces  trying to be found.
